Spud Spiral

Nipped up to the allotment this afternoon to see how things were going and to give the grass a bit of a strim. Came home armed with rasps, rocket, radishes, squash and a pile of spuds. These are Cara, I lifted a couple of shaws and one of them had decided to grow nothing but huge potatoes while the other had the usual mix of medium to minuscule. The biggest on display here is over half a kilo. Or it was; it's now an ex-potato, having been baked, covered in cheese and tuna and scoffed for my tea. Can't get any fresher than that.

(The interloping spud is a Charlotte, just in case anyone was wondering.)
