Walking home

As the boys are not in After School Club until October, and I was doing the school run, I decided to walk them home.

It took me 20 minutes to walk there (1.5 miles), and about 45 to walk back (2 miles - due to the route they wanted to take).

Quite a few stops were needed for JJ who isn't used to walking as much as C is.

But, as we are off to the Lakes next summer, and C wants to walk from Patterdale to Howton again we've got 11 months to get him used to some longer walking.

They were both in bed by 6.30 yesterday, whereas tonight they lasted until 7...
