There might be a hole in that boat

There was no electricity in our building when we came back for lunch - turned out it wasn't anything to do with our fuse box so we left it for someone else to deal with and went to grab some lunch from the bakery to eat in the park.

As it was a nice day I met Martin after work and headed to the river for a bit. En route we expanded our patisserie trials - lemon tart (we'd had that already but it was great) and a salted caramel chocolate tart. Surprisingly, the lemon was better.

Skyped our families in the evening - it's much nicer being able to see people when you speak to them, then it's more like you're in the same room having a normal chat.
