River Walkham again, the other side

Set out to do 4ml. circular walk along river and through woods, hard going as tree roots and rocks made path finding tricky. Mid-day the sun was hot and we were out of wooded area and climbing steeply (Tedwin had forgotten sunhat), fortunately a new bench was placed to savour the views but in full sun, but we had to sit as (1) needed rest and drink, and (2) we were lost! We had walk guide, map and GPS. Sat as long as we could without getting sunstroke but needed to move. Do we go further upwards which could be wrong or look for another path, we chose the latter but didn't find one. No other choice really, our water was running low, so we retraced our morning walk. It made a much longer walk than intended and harder but we survived.
The photo is another piece of old farm machinery on our site. This plough would require 3 horses to pull. All the old machinery is in this colourful and well cared for condition, makes a change from the rusting pieces one usually comes across.
