Sea Socks

Katie on her boogie board at Belhaven Sands. We got the wetsuits on and enjoyed splashing around in the warm sea. I haven't bought them wetsuit shoes yet so they had warm socks and plastic bags on their feet!

Big Socks.

It was so warm that the socks soon came off. Malcolm and I got the kite out whilst Gordon, Duncan and Katie splashed around.

Then suddenly we had an emergency as Katie sat on the sand and screamed. She had been stung by a jellyfish, which she must have stood on. There was no mark at all but she was really distressed.

By the time we had loaded up the bikes again she had settled down. Duncan's helmet was sitting sideways and I stopped to sort it - to find that he had stuffed his socks in his helmet! That cheered Katie right up and we were all laughing about Duncan's socks by the time we got home :)

It's time to buy wetsuit shoes though!
