Palacio de Estoi

Palacio de Estoi  This from Wiki .Building of this palace started 1840. Now a Posada : luxury small hotel , that the public have free access to wander and enjoy. A system, I guess that's a Socialist relic, that's also meant the village of Estoi, is wealthier than many and has very good schools. What i've been unable to find out, is , why the marble busts of German philosophers ( didn't make it into my collage ), grace the gardens : Schiller, Hegel, Goethe and Bismark ( Military type ) ?. Anyone know ?.
It's very beautiful : Bernd sat with a book, and a Cappochino, under an umbrella, on a shady terrace, while I did my camera thing. Good arrangement : spares us both irritation !.
I'm returning to UK today, though having anxiety dreams  ( when I sleep ) I'm ready for home and my cat, again, now. What fragile, limited creatures we all are dearies.
Now 04.37 : I'll have a another go at sleep !. Wish me luck please.
