Praca Do Comercio

Spent most of the day wandering around Lisbon - which we like very much. It's surprisingly hilly ( built on 7 hills says the guidebook) but there are lots of small trams called elevadors which take you up the steep bits. It's not too busy which makes sightseeing in the maze of little streets quite pleasant.
The blip is of one of the many squares. The statue is if Dom Jose who was the monarch at the time of a big earthquake and who rebuilt the city afterwards.
