I've had a useful and quiet day today - catching up on housework, a bit of baking and enjoying my book.

I popped into the garden to take a photo of my bonkers Magnolia that seems to be producing more buds - in September !!!!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted (sorry) this cute little ladybird, high up in the tree.
