Gautor in Mainz

Mainz is the capitol of "my" state Rheinland-Pfalz and I had a meeting there today.
As always when I have to go places with the colleagues, I had no chance to explore the city. This blip of the Gautor is the one of two photos I took - taken from the car.

The second one was a blip of the Museum für antike Schiffahrt (we parked there), but there was a construction site in front of the museum and it wasn't a pretty sight. The reason I mention it here is that I believe my blipfriend Mrs PicturePoems and Mr PP visited it last year around this time and I was thinking about that the other day.
