Do you know the Clint Eastwood film Unforgiven? Well it's been remade.

I normally don't really like remakes, especially when they are so soon after (relatively speaking) the original but...

This is the same story but remade in period Japan as a samurai film starring Ken Watanabe.

It is awfully good.
