It has been a largely fruitless day at the desk while a beautiful morning and afternoon was missed. Early evening came and the need for fresh air was still there. We had a quick march up Bohuntin Hill. In the rucksack I had my chunky SLR and lens, tripod, survey pole for off camera flash and the flash itself. In spite of that I have favoured this phone image of Caley. He looks like he is saying "What, have I got a bit of mud on my nose?"
Getting very muddy seems to be requirement on this walk, I also joined in by stepping in a bog I thought was ankle deep and going in up to my thigh and then sort of rolling over. My rucksack was in my hand at this point and it made a useful floatation device to stop me rolling further in.
