The Elizabeth Tower (AKA Big Ben)

We visited the RICS today and were privileged to be taken to the roof terrace over looking Parliament Square by RICS President, Amanda Clack. This is not Big Ben as Big Ben is the name of the bell (weighing 13 tons) inside the clock tower. The Victorian's call the tower St Stephen's Tower and the name was changed to the Elizabeth Tower in the Jubilee year.
