The Man from Snowy River

I enjoyed illustrating this iconic poem by Banjo A.B. Patterson.  It's a large one in oils but I'd forgotten about it until seeing it again on my son and daughter-in-law's wall.  For those who know the story, this is the moment at the bottom of the terrible descent when Jim closes in on the mob, intent on recovering the run-away black stallion (the Colt from Old Regret).
