From 5 past 7 when I threw on a dress to catch the garden-bin men - and they waited for me, the lovely men, the garden has been on my mind. Weeding, clearing, smelling and harvesting - potatoes aren't very photogenic but fumbling about in the compost and finding a boiling of Charlotte is very soul enhancing as is cutting off beans to steam straight from the stem.
