Autumn Arrives

....and the colors of the season are beginning to show. The field mimics the clouds scudding by at an angel and takes your gaze forever back to a hidden horizon. My favorite season is well and truly here. It's raining now and that's a boon!

After working in the studio, we set off to scout  the various sites for the Bitterroot en Plein Air paintout we've organized. Now we have artists coming from 3 states: Montana, Idaho and Washington. what a great kickoff to fall it will be. The dates are Oct. 6 - 8 and you're all invited.

Just about ready to head to the foundry and enlarger. It's a nice 1,800 mile round-trip. Went to the library to load up on audio-books for the road. The first presidential debate is Monday night, so I've also included a couple of barf-bags. I must be allergic to orange people. God help us....
