Patriotic allotments

Another glorious day, lots of sunshine and blue skies. Did some gardening and also sat and enjoyed it for a while!
Went for a walk early evening and took this shot of the allotments. There were quite a few flags waving and this one blotted out the sun for me. Also took good one of poppy heads so had to choose. It's amazing what is grown on these allotments and how homely some of them are with lawned area and seating. Someone had really glorious dahlias but with the wire fence could not get near enough to take shot .
Can't believe the olympics are nearly over. Mountain biking tomorrow where I used to keep my horse so must watch this.
