Yorkshire dragonfly

Went for a totter with my daughter along the towpath after lunch at the Boat House in Sprotbrough. There were numerous dragonflies - and much much bigger than the ones I saw at Milton Keynes. They were so big that we could see their shadows on the tow path. I took this without my glasses on, so it is cropped, but should be OK large. We were really taken with the golden wings.
