New Home For An Old Phone

This old phone hung above the work bench in my dad's shop for close to 50 years. I opened it this morning and found inside a repair tag dated December 1, 1948. It is a Samson telephone, made by American Electric in Chicago, Illinois. I am not sure where we came to acquire this, but it may have been from my Grandma McDonald's farmhouse in Oklahoma. It's new home is on the wall of our potting shed. It seems to like it.
