Chengdu tastes
First day of a four day trip to Chengdu China. There wasn't much time for a blip but I thought this red figure at the restaurant we went to (not the one we were meant to be as it turned out!) seemed a jolly chap so I quickly snapped him. We had a traditional Sichuan hot pot. It was like a big Swiss fondue, boiling water and oil to cook raw meat and vegetables in, the only difference is it is much spicer! I quite enjoyed it but I don't think I need to have it again. Off to see the Pandas tomorrow at the Chengdu Research Centre.
