Waverley ...

I went on the Waverley when I was 6 back in 1977 when it docked at the end of Hastings Pier (long before the landing stage fell into the sea).
We went out to the Royal Sovereign Light House and back on a school trip.I'll never forget it as myself and a friend were down in the cafe putting 2p's into a fruit machine and only realized when the ship was turning we had nearly missed the Royal Sovereign Light House.......


All these years later I was on the end of another Pier,Southend this time to see her again.
