In the shade

It was a beautifully warm morning @ the Moat!
  But someone was not too keen on the Sun.Preferring instead to stay in the shade to preen its feathers.
   It soon took notice when it realized I had food though!
We now have a healthy size flock of Moorhens.They have had a good breeding season,despite being predated by the Gulls?

The light was amazing.And the stillness of the water,showed the reflection of the overhead tree in their true splendor.
  Almost all my extras gone for the year though?
