The birds have returned!

You may recall that back in the summer I was lamenting the disappearance of the seagulls that used to land and hang out on the roof of the car dealership next door.  Well, today I saw a white gull swoop past my window, and when I looked out, there were about ten birds, white and brown gulls and crows, communing there.  There was a lot of fluttering and scooting about.  Then I spotted this gull who had found a rotten apple (I think) and claimed it for his own.  Here you see the other birds closing in, hoping to get it away.  The extra is of him having scared away another gull who tried to get too close.  Such fun!  I hope they will be staying.
