Contemplation

The Lohan at the Burrell Collection, Pollok Park, Glasgow. Ming Dynasty. 1484.

The building will be closing at the end of October for four years. Significant repairs required to the roof, giving the opportunity to make big changes to the displays and building. Rumour has it there will be a direct entrance from the park to the cafe.

I enjoyed viewing some of my favourite things, the Lohan is one. I wonder if he will be one of the pieces moved to Kelvingrove over the next four years. If so, he won't look the same without his woodland background.

Planning a few more trips before the end of October. I shall miss my local museum.
