Unfortunately the starlings are quick to take up residence claiming a small hole in our veranda roof creating the prefect place to nest, it's dry and warm, 10* accommodation until......

Yes, hubby will be covering the hole probably tomorrow, the race is on between the starlings and humans.

Couldn't believe the size of the nesting material which was being lifted up, some of it was dropped and collected again on the return flight. The squabbles have been intense as one starling comes out while another tries to enter, quite often causing the one in flight to do another circuit.

Quite a commotion at 'flyings' place :)

Another day working at the computer, I took a break to visit mum and have a cuppa and then came home to more work. It's grey and so cold, wish it would rain to clear the air. I must rest my eyes now as I have more work to do tomorrow, a busy few weeks are ahead.
