Up early to catch the Dawn
On Lindisfarne, and then back pretty sharpish as the Causeway closed at 9:00 AM this morning, only last Sunday a couple had to be rescued from the roof of their car

And the retired boats used as huts have always appealed, they are the remains of 19th Century Herring drifters that at the end of their life at sea were cut in half and made into two sheds, a great idea on an island with very few trees, hence little available wood.
Two were destroyed by fire near the castle and a replacement boat obtained, cut in half and installed, read about it here.
