My little brother got married today!!! :) Super busy, but awesome day :)

So yes, I wrote my toast speech this morning after getting my hair done, before my bath, and before leaving for all the day's festivities... I had no time for anything.

But.. .this past week was finals for grad school and my brother only told me the Sunday before the wedding that I was supposed to give a speech. I had started preparing a year ago when he proposed to Janet, buttttt.. my mom said I probably wouldnt' have to give a speech.. well.. guess not.

I was really freaking out before I had to walk in the hall and give the speech. I seriously started crying. Just all kinds of emotions: I felt so under-prepared, and if only they had let me know sooner, etc.

Honestly, once I got up there and started speaking, I must have reverted back to my undergraduate expertise in teaching... I just went with it, and I actually got a lot of compliments on my speech.... Thank God!!
