Expectant Flatcoats!

The flatcoats are coming !
No1 son brought the flatboats to visit today, Khan and Maisy.
They are a 2 dog demolition team who charge around at enormous speed consuming all that they come across...balls, stick just about anything.
They are beautiful dogs and we love them dearly but we try to keep them out of the house.
Not easy because Khan can operate any door handle and can pull as well as push a door so, we have to lock the kitchen door to keep them in the garden for a few minutes.
They are lovely to take for walks but when on the lead they pull like fury. They are quite young still and don't seem to have got the message about pulling on the lead.
Years ago we trained dogs not to pull by using some kind of chain choker...sounds awful but they learned not to pull too hard.
Things have changed and No1 son says that type of device went out with the stocks and public floggings etc.
So, we have to bumble on.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
