Langdales

The boys on a path you can take which is at the bottom of the campsite. We gained height quickly and then had a walk to a lake where we had our picnic. There are so many great walks from around this area. I have to admit that we didn't do any massive fell walks this holiday as it was too hot and Graham had a dodgy knee after sliding on a mossy rock and twisting the knee. (He'd told the boys not to climb on mossy rocks just a minute earlier!!) We met a nice couple from Formby who had a springer like ours....
