Chinese lanterns

A year ago I bought this plant, as you can see it didn't live. I hung the dead lanterns in a tree (don't ask me why), when I looked at it the other day I saw it was now a lacy skeleton with seed pods in the centre. 
I was going to blip it when I saw it but thought I'd wait it until it was a year since I blipped it before.
I will plant some of the seeds and see what happens.
