Marshalling
Mr P, with the Lowland Rescue jacket on , has been training to look for people lost in Kent. Today the Kent Search and Rescue team provided marshalls for the London to Brighton off-road cycling race in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Mr P had to be in place at 7:30 this morning to marshall this quite dodgy track/road junction until 14:30. That's 7 hours. I took pity on him and went along to help.
We got up at 5:30. We saw about 3,000 cyclists safely out onto the road. Am now pooped and ready for feet up with wine and TV
