Chaffinch

We had a short walk along the canal this afternoon, and already  -   I think due to the drop in temperature there seems to be a few more birds around.  I think this is a youngster as his colour is a little more delicate than many of the more mature birds and his feathers look more downy;  whether I'm right or not he was a little star and just sat there while I took the photo.

The correct package arrived from Amazon this morning, so Jack's back in business and can read away to his heart's content.
