Haskell on the patio...

Today may be the last day that I get to code on the patio this year.

I've just started the University of Glasgow's free online course on Haskell and the afternoon shot past as I began to explore this functional programming language. I've been programming in imperative, object-oriented languages since 1978 and getting my ancient head to think in terms of lambda calculus has proven a bit of a challenge in the past.
