Unsuccessful

So we emptied the bird box today and this is what we found sadly.

I left the nest on the grass and went out to rephoto the eggs an hour later as I realised this wasn't quite focused and the eggs were gone! I suspect magpies?

Bird box now back up with some alterations to allow light in so that the mini cctv camera can work. Let's hope we have some occupants who aren't put off but the new Perspex "window"
