Panyata Cake

Tarryn (black hair) is our best baker and she made Hazel this cake today. We were all gathered round waiting to see what was in the centre (haribo).

Hazel (cutting the cake), is my manager (and friend) and after 18 years with the company, is leaving next Friday. Will be so sad to see her go as we have worked together all these years and she is one of the old school, a person with good emotional intelligence and empathy and will be hard to replace. She has suffered from crippling insomnia for the past God knows how many years, and it's been hard seeing how much she has struggled to work on only a few hours sleep a night. She gave it her best but there comes a time when you have to listen to your body; having a high powered job and not being able to switch off will eventually have repercussions - so next Friday will be Hazel's last day.

Will be really sad to say goodbye next Friday, (although we will still meet up).
