Bridge building

We were supposed to be hillwalking today but it was called off because of a bad weather forecast - wet and very windy, not the sort of day to be up a mountain.
Instead we did parkrun (and I managed my fastest time of the year) and then went to Edinburgh to spend a voucher we received for our 40th wedding anniversary (and a fair bit more) and then returned via daughter's for a meal. They'd given the voucher and the meal was part of the gift, all very much appreciated.
We avoided most of the rain but it was very windy until evening, when it also got very warm (17C at 9pm).
Between Edinburgh and Fife I was able to get some reasonable photos from the car of the new bridge.
