Poppies Weeping Window, Perth

Rather complicated journeys today for both our daughter and son in law and ourselves.  Their drive to London Stansted was affected by an overturned lorry on the road, causing a long diversion and meaning they had to rush to board their flight.

Our complications arose when we tried to pick them up at the Long Stay car park (in order to avoid a ridiculous charge at the one nearer the Terminal!)  Trouble was, there are so many Long Stay car parks and we ended up at the wrong one - twice!  

However, we eventually found each other and drove back up the A9 towards Perth and home.  As the rain was only light at this stage, we decided to drop by and see the Poppies Weeping Window display at the Black Watch Museum, as it's the last day tomorrow and we have other plans.  The light was not good for photos, but this was the best I could manage.  A very thought-provoking display.

Then it was home to a lovely evening of catching up and eating too much:-)  It's so good to see them again.
