Body art

"Would you ever have a tattoo?"
M shook his head.
I would have been surprised if he had answered in the affirmative.

But we both admired this tattoo on the young waitress who served us in a Stirling bistro this evening.  

Body art has a long history. One of th earliest examples was found on the arm of a mummified body 2,500 years ago in Siberia.

What is surprising is that the tattoo bears a striking resemblance to that on the young girl in this photo.
