Harvest Time
Today has seen beautiful weather again, but nothing like as good for photography as yesterday. After posting Sunburst (and many thanks for the stars and hearts and comments), I went out on a bike ride with youngest son, trying out our new helmet-mountable video camera (with great results), enjoying wonderfully wispy clouds and finally the best sunset of the whole summer. It was just as well I had already blipped as I would have an even more difficult decision to make.
I do not have such decisions to make tonight - which is just as well because I feel very tired at the end of a hard week and I'm never very good at decision-making when the brain is a bit addled. This shot is taken from near Bolton Abbey, looking back towards Ilkley Moor. It was a beautiful evening for a bike ride, but my legs weren't responding. I think I'm paying the price for some rapid bursts of acceleration competing with Roam last night!
