Fast zu gut.

A stunning, stunning day.

After breakfast and Mirjam's departure back to Geneva, we settled on a wander in the mountains above Grindelwald.

In a rerun of the beast of a hike from three years ago we stomped up to Bachalpsee from First but then retraced steps to First instead of going to Bussalp (thank fuck).
The second leg was from First to Grosse Scheidegg along the Bergpanoramaweg in the search for Marmots. Sadly none seen but one most definitely heard.

After eleven miles, roughly a thousand meters of ascent/ descent and views to die for we came back to Bolligen to eat, drink, talk and foster the bonds that make those smiles stay big.

Just wow.
