ice ice baby

there's few things i really hate in the world, but freezing rain is definitely one of them. it's got no 'fun factor' like when snow starts to fall for the first time in the season. it's a royal pain to drive on. and it's especially frustrating to remove from the car without any sort of scraper (thanks avis).

by the way, this photo marks the second domestic car i've rented recently that has more than one problem with it. this time? the key fob doesn't work, the passenger window won't move, and the wiper intermittent feature no longer works. so why would the 'big 3' ever need a financial bailout?

flew to memphis today, drive to jonesboro, ar (when the ice started falling) worked most of the night, bite to eat at the ihop (only place open tonight), and now to the hotel.

bet there's loads of happy schoolkids here though.
