Clay Workers

I'm not a watcher of reality television.  However I have made an exception for The Great Pottery Throw Down.  We are seeing series one.  My brother in law is a potter.  He began when he went to night classes to support his daughter.  He discovered he had a talent and over time a business evolved and he turned from orchardist to potter.  My shot is of one of his goblets.  I got to take this one home after my mother's funeral.  I had used it for a comforting whiskey possibly more than one.
A recommended read is The Potters Hand by A.N.Wilson a novel about Josiah Wedgwood.

The forester had another commitment today so I stayed in bed for the morning and hope to see an improvement in this chest infection tomorrow.
