Sunset Olympic rings

Due to the on-going saga of the grant proposal, journal article and e-mail backlog, I didn't get outdoors until about 20:30 tonight. I'd heard the rumours of fabulous weather and was delighted to find that they were all true. On an evening like this at the height of the Festival, Edinburgh is the best playground in the world!

On the way to meeting friends for drinks on George Street we walked up to the Mound to watch the sun set behind the Olympic rings. My blip is a great contrast with the miserable attempt on 16th June.
