English hospitality?!

Making a teenager sit out in the rain to eat his breakfast?!

There's a very good reason for this. It was his parents idea!

Matty is allergic to cat hair and has had a difficult couple of nights at our place, even though the cats aren't allowed upstairs at night and he was taking antihistamines. He's ended up sleeping in the car both nights as his breathing got so bad.

So this morning, when he finally woke up ( was woken up by his mum knocking on the window! ) his dad refused to let him in the house, to save him from the ordeal. We set him up with breakfast in the garden as it was dry and reasonably warm out there. He managed his oatcakes, Scottish square sausage, black pudding, eggs and beans in the dry, but by the time he got his toast, the heavens opened and he had to sit in the rain to eat it! Bless. But at least he could breathe!
