The Duke & the hat

Anyone who knows Glasgow knows the Duke of Wellington statue outside GOMA wears a traffic cone on his head. Don't know why but folk love putting cones on his head. I suspect most are male and alcohol might play a part too! To celebrate the Olympics & most likely all this wonderful vitamin D the sun is giving us he now sports a gold cone.

In other news I had a lovely afternoon tea today & watched a bit of the Piping Live exhibition. Maybe that should be heard it as bagpipes are never quiet.
