Last month my friend Ruby who lives in Phnom Penh decided to visit Europe spontaneously and we finagled it that her last week would be me meeting her in Lisbon. I am much in need of some downtime to de-stress and re-prioritise and Ruby is a great friend to be doing that alongside. This is the first break I've had this year without a laptop in tow and that feels wonderful.

We arrived in time for some late afternoon strolling. Sunny skies, such characterful streets everywhere, steep tumbledown houses and hills, the cutest little praças (plazas), atmospheric tapas and cool Atlantic breezes enjoyed from our terrace. It's a very very pretty city.
