King's Mountain
A day which didn't show too much promise from a photographic point of view, but ended up delivering a whole series of magical moments. Each time I thought I had my blip for the day in the can, it would get trumped by an even more dramatic moment.
At the very start of the day we stumbled across the Mill Race at Colooney, unsignposted and hidden away, but utterly spectacular after a night of rain. At the very end of the day we took a little path, similarly unsignposted, to bring us out at the top of vertiginous cliffs with amazing views down to Glencar Lough and over to King's Mountain. And then the sun came out.
It really wasn't as dangerous as it might look. I'm not stupid! Really I'm not. Honest.
