Fungus

Plenty of fungus popping up in the garden now. Not sure I like it very much.

A very satisfactory trip to the recycling centre to pick up some free compost . Spread it around one of the flower beds - though it never goes anywhere near as far as I think it will. I don't bother digging it in but let the worms do the work. Many signs of autumn in the garden. If I need more compost, which I do, I'll need to go back for more municipal stuff as my own isn't ready to spread yet.
