Leaving Stornoway

We were up at the crack of dawn to catch the early morning ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool. They say the early bird catches the worm. In this case it was the sunrise - and a spectacular one at that.

We then drove south to Fort William for our overnight at Inverlochy Castle. Tomorrow it's on to Perthshire and our favorite Duchally Estate.

The extra was taken from the boat as we approached Ullapool.
