Bluebeard's Castle

Billed as a spine-tingling drama, tonight's symphony concert was about a serial wife-killer where you get to watch him torment the latest wife. When each of seven doors open you see splendid glass pieces by Dale Chihuly; beautiful, but they are all bloody. Seriously, why do we glorify tales like this. Music was great, singers were great, but the story is awful. In the original tale, the wife and her sister kill the guy, bury the dead earlier wives and keep the castle. I like that version.
Picture is not great, but it's a challenge to get a good exposure in a dark hall with a bright stage and an iPhone.
