Acorn men

I have a recollection of making acorn people when I was young.  I think it was in school but it could have been at home.  We drew faces on them and stuck in pins for arms and legs.  They had hats. Or pants.  But usually hats.

I'm enjoying the nights darkening and autumn arriving.
